Was extremely lucky that I found Dr. Anderson. I had a severe tooth infection, and he wasn't working in his Logan office that day (a Friday) but got a hold of him on his emergency number, and he went out of his way to promptly meet me at his Logan office and perform an emergency surgery to relieve my severely swollen face from the swelling from the infection. Was extremely worried that my face was swelling more and more by the day and was worried that I wouldn't be able to find anyone before the weekend. My dentist tried to help the day prior to that but only made things much worse. It was the worst pain I've ever felt, but Dr. Anderson saved my butt, and was extremely pleasant to work with, easy to talk to, and very kind. Thank you Dr. Anderson! Would be happy to come back to you anytime!

Dental Implants
Tooth loss is often a result of facial injury. Missing teeth can not only impact the appearance of your smile but also its function. Dental implants are titanium posts that support restorations such as dentures, dental crowns, and dental bridges to fill in the gap caused by missing teeth. They also stop and prevent jawbone recession that can occur with tooth loss.
Jaw Surgery
Surgery is often considered a last resort. However, some jaw issues cannot be resolved through orthodontics or non-surgical options, especially in cases of facial trauma or facial fractures. Our skilled oral surgeon can perform maxillofacial surgery to relieve pain and improve function as well as appearance.
Bone Grafting
The jawbone relies on tooth roots to provide stimulation. When a patient loses a tooth, the jaw loses that stimulation and can begin to deteriorate. When bone loss is significant, bone grafting is often needed to build up the area and allow you to qualify for dental implant placement. Dr. Anderson can restore your missing bone tissue with biocompatible grafting material.

View on GoogleWhat to Expect from Your Results
The ultimate goal for a maxillofacial surgeon is to repair any damage done and restore function to your smile. What those results will look like depends on the patient's needs and the treatments in question. While frenectomy or extraction will have immediate results, placing dental implants or completing corrective jaw surgery requires months of recovery before your body adjusts.
Dr. Anderson will lay out a comprehensive timeline for your treatment during your initial consultation at his practice in Logan, UT.

Cost of Facial Trauma Treatment & How You Can Afford It
Type of Surgery
The type of surgery you will require depends on your injuries and how severe they are. The complexity of your injury, the area of treatment, and intricacy required all contribute to the total cost of your treatment.
Number of Procedures Required
Your case may require several procedures and even multiple specialists to restore proper function and aesthetics. This can significantly impact your overall cost of treatment.
Elective vs. Emergency Medical Care
Depending on the cause or severity of your injury, you may require emergency care. As opposed to those who delay care or seek treatment electively, there are typically higher costs associated with urgent or emergency department services.
